These terms cover your use of PhotoFib (photofib.com), run by PhotoFib in the United Kingdom. By making an account or buying credits you agree to them. If something here is unclear, email support@photofib.com.

Your account

  • You need to be 18 or older to use PhotoFib.
  • Keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what is made with your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time from the Me page. That deletes your people, photos and results.

Photos of people

  • Only add someone if it is you, or you have their permission. Parents and guardians can add their own children.
  • Don't use PhotoFib to make photos of public figures, or of anyone who hasn't agreed to it.
  • Don't make sexual or nude images, images of children in any sexual or harmful way, images meant to harass, threaten or embarrass someone, or anything illegal.
  • Don't pass off a PhotoFib photo as real to deceive or harm someone, for example as evidence or to impersonate a person.

The AI providers we use also check every request and can refuse one. When that happens the credits come back to you. We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and we will report illegal content where the law requires it.

What you make

Your uploads stay yours. The photos you make are yours to use, including commercially, as far as the law allows for AI-made images. You give us permission to store and process your uploads and results only to run PhotoFib for you: making the photos you ask for, keeping them in your account, and keeping the service safe. We don't sell your photos or use them to train AI models.

Results are made by AI. They usually look like the people in them, but not always, and they can contain mistakes.

Credits and payments

  • Each tool costs a set number of credits, shown before you start. Credits are taken only when a photo is made; if it fails or is refused, they come back automatically.
  • New accounts get one free photo, with a small watermark. Any purchase removes the watermark from it.
  • Plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account; your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Plan credits are added at the start of each period.
  • Top-up credits don't expire while your account is open.
  • Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or sold.
  • Prices are in US dollars. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.
  • Refunds are covered in our refund policy.

The service

We work to keep PhotoFib running and your photos safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or retire features; if we close PhotoFib, we will give you notice and a chance to download your photos.

Liability

PhotoFib is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by law, or our liability for death, injury or fraud.

Changes and the law

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you keep the consumer protections of where you live and can bring a claim in your local courts.
